About Lulu

These Terms of Service are entered into between you and Bedtime Lulu, a business based in the United Arab Emirates (also referred to as "Lulu", the "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). Bedtime Lulu provides a parent-owned subscription app that helps families create a calming bedtime ritual — short bedtime stories generated from parent-curated themes, simple calm-down activities, and a sleep timer. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Accounts & Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Lulu is intended to be used by parents and guardians for their own children. Children do not transact, sign up independently, or maintain their own accounts on Lulu. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per household is intended.

Content & Safeguards

Stories and their illustrations are generated using artificial intelligence, within bedtime-appropriate, age-aware templates. The system is constrained to keep language warm and gentle, avoid violence, frightening situations, and other material unsuitable for bedtime. Outputs are bounded by these constraints — Lulu is not a free-form chatbot for children.

You may not use Lulu to generate sexual, explicit, hateful, violent, or otherwise harmful content, to depict real or identifiable people, or to bypass our safety measures. Every story idea you submit is screened against our content policy before any story or illustration is created. These rules are set out in full in our Acceptable Use Policy.

The app contains no chat, no user-to-user messaging, no public sharing, and no social features. Children cannot send, receive, or share content with anyone inside or outside the app. We show no third-party advertising and do not sell user data. If you ever encounter content that doesn't meet your expectations, please report it to us immediately and we will review it.

Subscriptions and Billing

Lulu offers a free tier and a paid subscription ("Lulu Plus") billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Applicable taxes (including VAT) are added at checkout where required by law. Payments & Merchant of Record

Payments for Lulu Plus are processed by Creem (operated by Creem Labs, Inc.), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Creem handles transaction processing, billing support, tax collection and remittance, refunds, and chargebacks. The charge on your statement will appear from Creem.

By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Creem's Terms of Service. For billing questions you may contact us using the details below.

Usage Limits

Free accounts have limits on story generation, library size, and other features. Plus subscribers receive higher or unlimited usage. We reserve the right to adjust these limits as the service evolves.

Intellectual Property

The Lulu character, branding, and app design are owned by Bedtime Lulu. Stories generated for you are yours to enjoy with your family. You may not redistribute or commercially use generated content.

Disclaimer

The Lulu service is provided by Bedtime Lulu "as is" without warranties. We do our best to keep the service running smoothly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
