Bedtime Lulu is a children's bedtime-story app for families. This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may and may not do when you use Lulu, and applies in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

AI-Generated Content

Lulu uses artificial intelligence to write its stories and to create the accompanying illustrations. Story text and images are generated automatically based on the details you provide (such as a child's name and a short story idea). Because the content is AI-generated, it is fictional and may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Lulu is an independent product and is not affiliated with the providers of the underlying AI models.

Prompt Screening

Every story idea you submit is automatically screened against our content policy before any story or illustration is generated. Requests that violate this policy are rejected. We may also review, refuse, or remove content that breaches these rules.

Prohibited Uses

You agree that you will not use Lulu to request, generate, or distribute:

  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, nude, or otherwise suggestive content of any kind, including any sexualization of minors.
  • Content depicting, encouraging, or facilitating graphic violence, gore, self-harm, abuse, or cruelty.
  • Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory content targeting any person or group.
  • Images or likenesses of real, identifiable people, or any face-swap, deepfake, or face-manipulation content.
  • Content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.
  • Any attempt to bypass, disable, or defeat our content screening or safety measures.

Children's Safety

Lulu is intended to be operated by a parent or guardian on behalf of a child. All generated content is designed to be gentle and family-friendly. If you believe content was produced that violates this policy, please report it to us using the contact details below.

Enforcement

Violating this policy may result in rejected requests, removal of content, or suspension or termination of your account. We may report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
